Founded on 11 May 2001 by Mr. Tan Kong Ping and Mr. Tan Tiam, Coly Coating Sdn. Bhd. specializes in manufacturing coatings of superior quality for wood, automotive, marine equipment, heavy-duty industrial items and glass. With a firm hold on quality and fair price, we have since expanded to other states in Malaysia; as well as distribution offices in China and Vietnam.
In year 2010, with a vision to improve and develop new wood paints and lacquer formula, we started our collaboration with Shinex Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) in manufacturing efforts. In the same year, we are proud to have Zillion Paints and Deh Fu Coating emerged as our subsidiaries in distributing our wood lacquers, auto refinish, marine, industrial and maintenance coatings.
In year 2016, our vision of opening up new horizon in manufacturing wood paints and lacquer formulation comes to fruition as we collaborated with Building For Future Ltd and proceed to establish a production site in Bangladesh – Coly Coating Bangladesh.
As of now, Coly Coating is equipped with a lexicon of coatings solution to meet the distinctive needs from our customers, and we are determined to continue developing and manufacturing products of the highest qualities.

Production Plant
Our production plant conducts in a firm, precise and secure procedure to carry on their daily operations.
Firm – in a way that every batch meets its specified deadline to be received by our clients.
Precise – that every step is scrupulously followed according to the designed and set procedures.
Secure – where every precaution is taken into account. With all these aspects, our production will not be complete without the high valued machineries Coly invested.
The factory has all the necessary equipments, like high-speed dissolvers, battery of sand mills, etc. to easily fulfill a daily capacity of 30,000 liters.
Quality Control
Quality is a habit, and not just an act. Yes, quality is a daily norm for us. Our adamant quality control personnel sift, analyze and examine every batch that comes in and out. They ensure that every can, drum and tank is within the specified range of standard. In addition to manual testing, all products are subjected to reaffirmation using computerized instruments. We are proud to be an awarded entity for the quality policy ISO 9001:2008. This assure our customer’s requirements and notwithstanding, position us globally.
Quality auditing is a must for every batch we made. A strict frequency of testing is undertaken to ensure that quality stay as it is as specified. This is to ensure that our quality is well beyond our clients expectations.
